Will an electrician come out for one small job?

Yes. That is the quick job: one small job, up to 30 minutes, for £89. From a single damaged socket to a light fitting you’ve been meaning to get changed. If it turns out to need longer, it becomes a standard visit for the difference and nothing more.

Can I give the electrician several jobs?

Yes. Add everything you’d like looked at when you book, most important first, with how many of each. We work out the price for the list and show it before you book; your electrician works through it in your order. Anything that comes up on the day can be added as extra time, with your agreement, or booked as another visit.

How long will my jobs take?

As a guide, two small jobs, sometimes three: a like-for-like socket or switch swap takes around 15 to 20 minutes, a light fitting 20 to 30, and fitting a new socket or tracing a fault can take a standard visit on its own. You don’t have to work it out: add your jobs and we tell you how long we expect the visit to take and what it should cost, before you book. Access, the state of the existing wiring and whether parts are to hand all make a difference on the day, and nothing extra is charged without your agreement.

No. Materials are charged separately where required. Your electrician will confirm any additional cost with you before fitting parts.
