We’ll always be straight with you. These are better handled with a survey and quotation:
If a booking clearly needs more time, we’ll let you know that the work needs a quotation instead and arrange the next step with the electrical contractor. If bigger work comes to light during a visit, the contractor can quote for it separately. Nothing extra is carried out without your agreement.
Swap an existing socket, switch or light for a new one, including upgrading to USB sockets, or fix one that is damaged or faulty.
A new point on new wiring: an extra socket, a switch, a light or an outdoor light where there is nothing now. Replacing an existing one counts as an upgrade, not a new point.
